Recipe: Crust 300 g dark, spiced bread 100 g melted butter Filling 3 sheets gelatin (approximately 5 grams) 300 ml sour cream, 15-20% fat 200 ml low-fat soft cottage cheese 2 hard-boiled eggs 175-200 g pickled herring (salted herring is also suitable) 100 g boiled potatoes a handful of chopped chives a handful of chopped dill a pinch of salt For garnish caviar a hard-boiled egg Mix the bread with melted butter (preferably in a blender) and press the mixture into the bottom of the pan. Soak the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Then mix with a couple of tablespoons of warm sour cream (heat in a double boiler or microwave). Grate the eggs and potatoes, mix with cottage cheese, sour cream, gelatin, herbs, and salt. Chop the herring and mix with the remaining filling. Spread the filling on the crust. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Garnish with herbs, boiled eggs, and caviar.
