"Yeongdeok Again" The place we visited this time is Mt. Badesan, a hidden gem in Yeongdeok with a beautiful pure Korean name meaning "when you stand at the summit, you can see the moon rising over the East Sea"! We begin our hike by passing through the dazzling jade-colored Okgye Valley and following the clear and refreshing Gyeongbanggol Valley. Looking at the magnificent strangely shaped rocks and boulders resembling human figures, we realize once again that "nature is the greatest sculptor." In particular, I think the highlights of this hike are Hobakso and Biryong Falls. After enjoying a moment of leisure accompanied by the sound of water at Hobakso, the best resting place nestled in Gyeongbanggol, and passing Biryong Falls—a breathtaking sight where the rock formations harmonize like a dragon ascending to the heavens—the 본격적인 (full-scale) rocky ridge hike of Mt. Badesan unfolds! Even though this is a hike on an unnamed mountain with no signal and not even signposts, don't panic.
