Columbian #206 Vise Complete Restoration
This video represents the complete restoration of the Columbia number 206 vice. This vice is approaching 100 years old. It is made of heavy-duty cast iron and steel. Was manufactured by the Colombian vice company of Cleveland Ohio. The Colombian company was subsequently bought by Wilton and although this vice is not made anymore the Colombian name continues. This video also includes complete restoration of the vise jaws including refacing, re-creating the teeth and heat treating and tempering for long-lasting durability.
