Singing Rams Hype Jam

About 50 students from across the WSSU campus are enrolled in The Singing Rams. The class is taught by Maestra D'Walla Simmons Burke, director of choral and vocal studies at WSSU. For their first assignment, the students were asked to create and learn a hype song to say what the Singing Rams are about. This song, “Singing Rams Hype,” was co-written by classmates: Jessica Johnson, Nia Lewis, Rashad Woodard, Lauryn Rainey, Christian Stewart. This video is the winner of two 2018 Telly Awards.
