What steam ban? 13268, 7714 & 813 shine at the Severn Valley Railway! | Timetable D | 25/7/26

Today’s video is of three steam locomotives in operation at the Severn Valley Railway! Given that the national network is now completely locked down and banning steam due to the extreme heat and lack of rain we’ve had over the last month, I decided that I should head somewhere that does still operate steam and doesn't shove the locos with any diesels. The Severn Valley Railway had a full 3 locomotives out today plus a diesel which isn't featured! These were: LMS Stanier Mogul Class 2-6-0 13268 GWR 57xx Pannier Class 0-6-0 7714 GWR 0-6-0ST Saddle Tank 813 I drove out from home, and caught the steam locos at 4 locations. First, we see 813 departing Arley Station. Having had to wait 30 mins for 7714 to cross the train, she slowly lifts her 5 coach train out the station, looking very much the part! Cheers to my friend who was signaller at Arley today. After, 7714 is seen passing Tenbury Wall with 8 coaches in tow! Afterwards, I drove up to Rifle Range to see 13268 slogging up the bank. Unfortunately, today's high winds really overpowered the shot despite my best efforts, but she still looked and sounded superb. Finally, 813 is seen tackling Eardington Bank, with me having just witnessed the first rain we've had in weeks! Hopefully this was a great way to circumvent the fire risk restrictions and finally see some steam; I hope you enjoy it greatly!
