Storytelling and Singing - Grade R
Mrs Ada Brown from Littlewood Primary School teaches a Grade R lesson on story telling and singing. The lesson starts with a rhyme. Singing songs helps children with different acting styles to get actively involved with what is being taught. The rhyme is followed by Mrs Brown introducing the characters from Spot Goes to the Shop before telling the story. She uses puppets to tell the story this makes it fun for the children and it also allows the children to relate to the characters within the story. ( UKU104 )
