Is This Coastal Catan Pick Genius… Or a Huge Mistake?

Come hang in my Discord server!   / discord   In this ranked Catan match I make a very unconventional coastal placement on my second pick. It looks strange at first, but there is a clear idea behind it and I decide to trust my read on the board instead of taking the standard option. From there the game develops into a tense back and forth where solid fundamentals, timing, and reading the table all matter. Things get especially wild when table talk, broken promises, and a massive Monopoly play threaten to swing the game away. At one point it feels like everything hinges on a single moment, and the entire direction of the match hangs in the balance. If you enjoy high level Catan, unconventional placements, and games where one decision or roll can flip everything, this is an absolute must watch. We are playing on colonist.io A bit about me.
