I Went to a FREE Scottish Comic Con… Was It Any Good?

Livingston Comic Con took over Livingston Designer Outlet, so I went along to see if a free local Scottish Comic Con could actually deliver… or if it was just another shopping centre geek market thing. There were cosplayers, Ghostbusters Alba, Funko Pops, toys, handmade art, 3D prints, wax melts, mystery bags, a Beetlejuice shrunken head, a suspicious dinosaur, one lonely cup stall, and some £8 plastic keyrings that nearly sent me into financial collapse. But because it was free, and because there were actually passionate creators there doing cool stuff, I can’t fully slag it off. I can try. Obviously. But this one had a bit more life to it. Also, my DJI Pocket 3 accidentally captured forensic audio evidence of a crime scene beside the comics. So there’s that.
