I Went To Scotland’s Biggest Retro Game Shop

After last week’s £9 “Comic CON” disaster, I needed a proper geek horror palate cleanser. So I went to Forgotten Worlds in Kilmarnock - Scotland’s biggest retro game shop - to see how much horror stuff I could find. This place is massive. Horror figures, retro games, consoles, comics, graphic novels, VHS, collectibles, old school gaming hardware, and somehow a Terminator T-800 skull DVD player, because apparently the world still has miracles. After that, I talk about the absolute pain of charity shops binning VHS tapes and CRT TVs, then accidentally find Prop Shack - a brilliant horror prop and mask maker offering props, commissions, classes and proper hands-on horror creativity. So this turned into a full horror hunting day: retro games, old school horror, physical media, horror collectibles, VHS heartbreak, CRT grief, and one hidden horror prop surprise.
