My First Mikisew Camping Trip Was Full of Surprises!

Join Luna and me for our first-ever camping trip to Mikisew Provincial Park in Ontario! This trip had a little bit of everything: a beautiful wooded campsite, some fishing success with both a brook trout and a smallmouth bass, great camp cooking, and one very unexpected side adventure to Screaming Heads — an incredible outdoor art installation filled with acres and acres of wild, strange, and slightly creepy-looking sculptures. On the menu for this trip: bacon potato roses for breakfast, gypsy steak for dinner, and corn on the cob cooked camp-style. Because let’s be honest — camping food just hits different when you’re out in the woods. We also had the chance to connect with Go Overland (‪@gooverlandcanada‬ ) Canada ambassadors Tyler and Danny, who showed off some seriously cool overlanding rooftop tent setups. Big shout-out to Go Overland Canada for adding a little extra adventure inspiration to the trip.
