🐟 Bangada Tawa Fry – Step-by-Step Procedure 🧂 Ingredients 4 Bangada (Mackerel) fish – cleaned & washed 2 tbsp red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp lemon juice Salt – as needed 2–3 tbsp oil (for frying) Few curry leaves (optional) 🔪 Step 1: Clean the Fish Wash bangada properly. Make 2–3 slits on both sides of the fish. 👉 This helps masala go inside. 🌶️ Step 2: Prepare Masala In a bowl mix: Red chilli powder Turmeric powder Coriander powder Ginger-garlic paste Lemon juice Salt Little water or oil (make thick paste) Mix well to form a thick masala. 🧴 Step 3: Apply Masala Rub masala inside slits and all over fish. Coat evenly on both sides. ✅ Marinate for 1–2 hour (more time = more taste) 🍳 Step 5: Tawa Fry Heat tawa (pan) on medium flame. Add oil. Place curry leaves (optional for aroma). Keep fish gently on tawa. 🔥 Step 6: Fry Properly Cook 5–6 minutes on one side. Flip carefully. Fry another 4–5 minutes till golden and crispy. ✅ Cook on medium flame (not high — fish may burn). 🍽️ Step 7: Serve Remove when crispy and roasted.
