Implementing Urban Heat Resilience: Funding and Partnerships in Boynton Beach
This webinar will feature Alannah Irwin, Sustainability & Resiliency Administrator for the City of Boynton Beach, who will present the City’s approach to implementing its Urban Heat Resilience Strategy, including the role of Climate Smart Infrastructure (CSCI) and the expansion of its urban tree canopy program. The session will highlight how Boynton Beach has successfully brought together multiple funding sources and cross-sector partnerships to move from planning to implementation. Participants will gain insight into project development, coordination across agencies and stakeholders, and practical strategies for advancing urban heat mitigation at the local level.
