Strange Things in Shamrock, TX - Route 66 (#712)
Shamrock Texas is an easy town to fall in love with. Shamrock has a wealth of Route 66 history and the locals are very proud of their Route 66 heritage. It was surprising to find so many interesting locations here in Shamrock. Two very interesting spots we visited are the restored Magnolia Gas Station and the Pioneer West Museum. The Pioneer West Museum features artifacts ranging from Bonnie and Clyde to NASA. Each room in the former home has it's own theme. It is well worth a stop to see.
