Throwback to 2004: May Steam Pt.3 - Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway
We are pleased to share the Third part of some fascinating archive footage of the CCLR back in 2004 during our May Steam Gala. We see a range of locomotives in service, including resident locomotives such as No.24, No.7 (now known as rusty) in her earlier shape, Effie, Flower of The Forest (visiting from the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway at the time). We also see former residents of the railway in service, such as No.1 Sutton Belle, No.2 Sutton Flyer, No.5 Battison. The guest locos for this gala were Smokey Joe (from Sherwood Forest Railway) and two Cagney locos, one of the visiting from Rhyl Miniature Railway whilst the other came from Kent. We also see some Double heading action with Sutton Belle & Flyer with the gala ending with a small Double header of the two Cagney Locos. All the footage & Narration by the late Dave Long. We hope you enjoy, please like, share and subscribe! For more details on our railway, please visit www.cclr.co.uk
