PULL UP MASTERY: The Breakdown
For free programs, training courses, recipes, consultations, or to join the free community, visit https://www.kboges.com NOTE: If you want to use "Pull Up Mastery" with push ups, perform your ascending ladders per the following guidelines For a MAX of 15-25 reps- ascend ladders by 2's For a MAX of 25-35 reps, ascend by 3's In this video, I explain how you can use the concepts behind Pull Up Mastery (available for free on the website) to increase the rep count for other BW exercises. Remember though, this is a PEAKING cycle, and not intended to be performed long term. It will have its greatest impact on intermediate level exercisers; those who still have gains to make in work capacity and movement efficiency. For advanced practitioners, who already have well developed work capacity and motor patterns, this approach will be less effective, but more on that in a future video! And for everyone... remember that your body composition is the primary attribute that develops your base level of performance in relative strength performance. Programs like Pull Up Mastery put the edge on the blade, so to speak. But the better the blade was forged, the better the edge it can hold. So don't rush using the basics to build muscle and lean out before attempting a peaking cycle.
