Waarom je NIET hetzelfde tempo moet lopen in de hitte 🥵

🥵 Running in hot weather is more than just a matter of drinking extra fluids and putting on a cap. Many runners make the same mistake: they keep running at their normal pace as if nothing has changed. But doing so puts you at risk of overtraining, poor training sessions, and unnecessary fatigue. In this video, I explain exactly what happens in your body while running in the heat, why your heart rate rises, and why the same pace suddenly feels much harder. I also share something I learned during my UESCA Ultra Running Coach training: heat is trainable. Your body can adapt to warm conditions within one to two weeks, provided you approach it correctly. 💬 How do you handle running in the heat? Do you adjust your pace, or do you find that you still struggle with it? Let me know in the comments! 👍 Don't forget to like this video and subscribe to Wim's HardloopChannel for more videos on smarter, more efficient, and injury-free running. #running #runninginheat #ultrarunning #trailrunning #runningtips Table of Contents 00:00 Introduction 01:02 Practical tips 02:07 What happens in your body during hot weather? 04:19 Heat is trainable 04:43 How quickly your body adapts to heat 05:17 Positive effects of acclimatizing 06:28 Why recovery becomes even more important 08:18 How do you train in hot weather?
