In this video, we take the controls of the BR 145 024-6 locomotive in DB Cargo livery, a model from the Expert pack developed by Train Sim Germany (TSG). We are driving the international freight train 42314 between Dornreichenbach and Leipzig Engelsdorf. This train connects the Česká Třebová rail hub in the Czech Republic to the Rotterdam Waalhaven terminal in the Netherlands. The route shown here focuses on the segment between Dornreichenbach and Leipzig Engelsdorf. The key feature of this journey is the use of LZB (Linear Signaling) technology, which allows for continuous monitoring and optimal management of braking distances for this heavy train. The BR 145, produced by Adtranz in the late 1990s. The Expert version, modeled by TSG, offers unprecedented simulation depth, including realistic train composition management, complex commissioning procedures, and advanced braking physics. The Leipzig–Dresden line is one of Germany's most important railway corridors. Opened in 1839, it was the country's first long-distance railway line.
