Train Sim World 6 - Découverte de la Medway Valley Line (Class 375/3)

In this video, we take the controls of a Class 375/3 in Southeastern livery. We are operating passenger service 2T21 on the Medway Valley Line, running from Tonbridge station to Strood. The Medway Valley Line has a rich history linked to the industrial expansion of Kent in the 19th century. Its opening took place in stages: the first section connecting Paddock Wood to Maidstone West was inaugurated in 1844 by the South Eastern Railway (SER), making Maidstone one of the first towns in the region to be connected to the rail network. It was not until 1856 that the line was extended northwards to Strood, finally allowing a strategic junction with the North Kent Line. Historically, this line was vital for the transport of heavy goods, including paper, cement, and coal, produced in the factories lining the River Medway. Today, although primarily dedicated to regional passenger traffic, it retains its original characteristics with numerous historical infrastructures that bear witness to its past importance in the economic development of South East England.
