DRIVING TEST VIDEO LINK: • ECCO COM'E' L'ESAME DI GUIDA TRIANGLE LINK: • IL TRIANGOLO: SICURO DI SAPERE QUANDO, CO... In the series of videos you're about to watch, I'll explain everything you need to know to pass the first phase of the driving test with ease. I say "video series" because there's a lot to explain, and to avoid confusion and explain it more clearly, it's definitely a good idea to divide the topic into several chapters, so you can more easily memorize everything you need to know. In a previous video, I described the driving test, its three phases, one by one. If you haven't seen it yet, I've left the link in the description below, but you can also do so by clicking on the "i" in the top right. But let's not waste any more time and look at the things you need to know for the first phase of the driving test. It seems strange that a driving test can start outside the car, but it's true. Let's start by looking at the things you might be asked: knowing how to open the hood; knowing where to top up the windshield washer fluid, and you'll notice you're out of it when you activate the windshield washer fluid device and nothing comes out. The windshield washer fluid container is easily recognizable by the symbol on the cap; knowing how to check the engine coolant level and where to top it up, if necessary; knowing how to check the engine oil level and where to top it up, if necessary; know where the battery is located know the location of the brake fluid reservoir; know how to close the hood correctly. Now let's move on to the trunk, where we'll find the mobile warning sign, more commonly known as a triangle, which is mandatory on all vehicles. Installing it is a very simple operation and can be done in just a few seconds. Remember that in cases where the warning triangle is mandatory, you will be required to wear a reflective vest. However, you must keep it in the passenger compartment so you can put it on before getting out of the vehicle, to avoid the risk of being seen and possibly hit. I've already made a specific video on the use of the warning triangle. To watch it, click on the "i" in the top right, and I've also provided the link in the description below. The spare tire will also be in the trunk, in case you get a flat tire. There are cheaper alternatives to the spare tire, such as a space-saver spare tire, which is a smaller tire than a standard tire. Another alternative is the repair kit. Obviously, both the space-saver spare wheel and the repair kit are temporary solutions. You'll then need to visit a tire dealer as soon as possible, who will permanently repair the flat tire, replacing it if necessary. From November 15th to April 15th, you'll also need to keep two snow chains in the trunk, mounted on the drive wheels, the ones that turn the engine. There's an alternative to snow chains: installing snow tires, or winter tires, on all four wheels. These tires are identified by the two letters M and S, for mud and snow, printed on the sidewall. And while we're at it, let's finish talking about tires. So far, we've said that tire pressure is indicated on a special sticker, as well as in the owner's manual, and should be checked FREQUENTLY, especially for your safety. We just talked about winter tires, identified by the two letters M and S. We'll continue by saying that we'll need to check the condition of our tires frequently, ensuring they're free of cuts or blisters, for example. We'll obviously need to make sure the measurements on the sidewall match those on the registration document, otherwise we'll risk serious fines. One last check to perform periodically concerns wear. Vehicle tread patterns must have a minimum height of 1.6 mm, which can be checked using the wear indicator, a small piece of rubber located inside the tread that's exactly 1.6 mm high. This means that when the tread reaches the height of the wear indicator, it's time to replace the tires. Finally, we'll need to know where the fuel filler flap is located; the type of fuel will be indicated by a sticker located inside the flap. This ends the video on the exterior of the first phase of the driving test, but we'll see you soon with the next video, again on the Guidare Oggi channel, with Andrea. #primafaseesamediguida #esamepatente #patente
