Machining Bolts Without A Collet Block On The Mill
G'day everyone, I was in need of a custom hex bolt recently, and with the new sieg x2.7l milling machine I thought it was better time than none to try and make some hex bolts to use with a wrench. Due to time, budget and a state wide lockdown due to COVID, getting a hex collet block, or any other type of indexer was out of the question. However I had a few coupler nuts from a previous project that I thought I could fashion into a makeshift indexer.
