ESRC PhD Scholarships (LISS-DTP and SeNSS DTP) – All you need to know | Project EduAccess
The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) is one of the seven Research Councils that form part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). ESRC offers PhD funding/studentships, covering fees and maintenance as well as providing high-quality research training. Applicants can’t apply directly to the ESRC for PhD funding. Instead, funding for PhDs is routed through universities that allocate awards to students within either Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTPs) or Centres for Doctoral Training (CDTs). We have already conducted an introductory session on the ESRC PhD Studentships that gives a general overview of the scheme, which you can find on our YouTube channel. We are now conducting a session on two specific doctoral studentships, namely the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS-DTP) and the South East Network for Social Sciences Doctoral Training Partnership (SeNSS-DTP). Watch the video to learn more about the two DTPs from Hitesh Potdar who received offers from both the DTPs and is pursuing a PhD from Kings College London.
