2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Fuel Pump Recall (5321K) | Denso Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Replacement In this video, I perform Mazda Recall 5321K on a 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata. This recall addresses defective Denso low-pressure fuel pumps that can fail when the internal impeller cracks or deforms. If the fuel pump fails, the engine can stall while driving or may not restart. I've covered this recall on the channel before, but this is the first time I've actually filmed the repair on a Miata. Unlike many other Mazda models, the MX-5 requires nearly the entire rear interior to be removed just to gain access to the fuel pump.
