Bob Graham Round - Failed | Lake District | 4K | February 2023

What was supposed to be an attempt at a Bob Graham Round turned into failure just after Fairfield. Lots of reasons why but no excuses. The mountains beat us. Simple as that. Things to note - a Winter round is hard. Why did we think we could do this? Only had the idea less than a week ago. Unsupported too, carrying a pack weighing 14lbs. Glad we opted to leave the route where we did otherwise it would have been the whole of Leg 3 in the dark, freezing fog and high winds. Not the best of ingredients!
