Card 6: The Lovers — "The Other"

Today, for the first time, we encounter "The Other" -- two figures on the card. We are invited to consider the idea of wholeness that proceeds from embracing "the other half" of ourself -- whether it is a forgotten, ignored, or suppressed side of ourself, or if it represents an actual "other" -- another person, a partner, an ideal, experience, or path that completes us. In order to discover our own personal "Path of the Heart," we have to look within, use the Sword of Discrimination, and perhaps make a choice. But ultimately, we need to pay attention, and listen to our heart. What is YOUR Heart's True Desire? And what can YOU do to follow it, today?
