Diving the CLAN CUMMING | A WWII War Grave 95m Deep in the Saronic Gulf

RAW FOOTAGE Ninety metres down off the island of Aegina lies the CLAN CUMMING — a British cargo steamer and a war grave from 1941. This is raw, unedited footage of our full dive on Boxing Day, 26 December 2021, narrated throughout as we descend into the cold and the dark to tell her story. And what a story. Completed in 1938 at Greenock in Scotland, this 141-metre Clan Line steamer survived almost everything the Second World War threw at her: she rescued survivors from a torpedoed ship in the Atlantic, was bombed at Liverpool, was torpedoed off Piraeus by an Italian submarine, and even survived the catastrophic Piraeus harbour explosion of April 1941. Days later, on 15 April 1941 — sailing empty for Alexandria as the German army closed in on Athens — she struck a mine and finally went down. Remarkably, not a single life was lost. Today she rests on her port side between roughly 74 and 94 metres, her bow gun still pointing defiantly toward the surface. Join us for the full descent. 🌊 DIVE INFO 📍 Off Cape Tourlos, Aegina, Saronic Gulf, Greece 📏 Depth: ~74–94m (technical dive) 🚢 Wreck: SS Clan Cumming (built 1938, sank 15 April 1941) 📅 Dived: 26 December 2021 🎬 Filmed & narrated by Addicted2H2O 🙌 Support What We Do Thanks for watching! 👉 👉 If you’re passionate about wreck diving, WWII history, and deep technical exploration, subscribe here:    / @addicted2h2o   V I D E O S T O W A T C H N E X T : ✅ Burdigala Wreck ⚓️:    • ⚓ -75m SS Burdigala Wreck | Kea   ✅ Lavrio Mines Underwater 🔦 :    • 🎥 Lavrio Mines Underwater – First Underwat...   ✅ Rare WWII Junkers Wreck ⚓️:    • ✈️ -65m Rare WWII Junkers Ju 52/3m Wreck |...   #ClanCumming #wreckdiving #technicaldiving #shipwreck #saronicgulf #aegina #greece #Addicted2H2O #WW2Wreck #DeepWreck #scubadiving #underwatervideo 📱 Follow Our Socials 🌐 Website: https://addicted2h2o.com/ 📸 Instagram:   / addicted.2h2o   📘 Facebook:   / addicted2h2o
