JUAN GRIS: el cubista que puso orden en el caos

Why are Juan Gris's paintings so satisfying to look at? He was the Cubist painter who brought clarity and order when Picasso and Braque took Analytical Cubism to a point where, at times, the subjects of their paintings were almost unrecognizable. With a unique sense of composition, Juan Gris reinterpreted Cubist principles and transformed them into a method. In this video, I review the main characteristics of his work and analyze one of his most important paintings: "Still Life and Landscape - Place Ravignan," from 1915.
