"Did Jesus Really Spend Three Days in the Tomb? The Hebrew Idiom Nobody Explains"

Jesus said "three days and three nights." He was buried Friday, rose Sunday. That's two nights — not three. People have debated this for centuries. Wednesday crucifixion theories. Thursday theories. Elaborate charts. Still no answer that satisfies everyone. Here's what almost nobody explains: Jesus was not speaking arithmetic. He was speaking Hebrew. There's a principle embedded in the Old Testament called miktzat ha-yom ke-kulo — "a part of the day is as the whole." A fragment of a calendar day counts as that full day. Once you see it, the contradiction vanishes entirely.
