Our annual video is here to show you how simple, fun and most importantly – delicious it is. After countless feedback from people who already pick fruit every year, it's your turn. So what do you need to know to succeed? I've summarized the main points for you: 🏡 Where to plant? Unlike most plants, blueberries love containers! It is recommended to grow them in a 20-50 liter pot (no more). Even if you want them inside the garden – it's a good idea to put them in the ground along with the pot. • The recipe for a perfect substrate: a layer of tuff at the bottom for excellent drainage, and a quality garden mix on top. ☀️ Sun and watering • Location: They like the middle the most – at least 4-5 hours of sun, but not during the peak of the harsh hours. • Water: The secret is consistency. Blackberries don't like to be played with. Keep the soil moist and water in regular, regular portions (3-4 times a week or every day in small amounts). ✂️ Maintenance and Fertilization • Acidification: In order for the blackberry to bloom, the soil needs to be acidified. Once every 3 months, sprinkle 3 tablespoons of sulfur over the surface of the pot. • Pruning: Prune when there is no fruit (August-October or when leaving winter in January).
