33. El-Azîm

Close your eyes and take a deep breath... 🌿 Now consider this: Fire, commanded to burn, becomes cool and safe for Abraham; water carries a baby and safely delivers it to his enemy's palace; the sea splits in two like mountains with the touch of a staff. What does this absolute obedience of fire, water, and wind whisper to us? All existence bows before a majestic being... And what about our hearts? That sorrow, that impossibility, that fear that grows like a mountain in the human eye—how much space does it hold in comparison to the greatness of Allah, Al-Azim? In this video of remembrance and contemplation, we delve into the depths of the name Al-Azim, the greatest of the Beautiful Names of Allah, the possessor of majesty and power. This name, mentioned in six verses of the Quran, is reflected in everything that emanates from Him: His Book is magnificent, His Throne is magnificent, the character of His Prophet is magnificent, and His reward and trial are also magnificent. The entire universe—the seven heavens in layers, the moon that has been made luminous, the sun that has been made a lamp—points to Al-Azim, just as the book points to the scribe and the art to the artist. The duty of the servant who recognizes this name is to show reverence: to affirm His oneness in unity and avoid polytheism, to glorify His symbols such as the call to prayer and the prayer itself, to not approach His boundaries, and to follow in the footsteps of His Messenger. But the most healing touch of this name is for the self: the heart is necessarily created to revere something; a heart not filled with the majesty of Allah will either magnify its own self or another self. When the heart is filled with Al-Azim, pride, arrogance, and boasting will melt away on their own. Even the greatest difficulties in one's eyes become smaller. Therefore, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would take refuge in this prayer in every time of distress: "O Allah, the Mighty and the Clement, besides whom there is no other god!" During this remembrance (dhikr), with gentle transitions, with each repetition, you will surrender whatever weighs heavily on your heart to the majesty of the Lord of the Great Throne. ✨ If you are ready, our journey of contemplation begins. 🎙️ *Key Dimensions Highlighted in This Remembrance and Contemplation:* 🏔️ *Everything Bows to His Majesty:* To see all of existence prostrating to Allah, from the sun to the mountains, from fire to water; to read the decree of the Creator of causes, not the causes themselves, in the fire becoming cool for Abraham, and the sea becoming a path for Moses. To keep hope alive knowing that every seemingly impossible door can be opened with a single command from Al-Azim (the Mighty). 🕌 *Reverence: Respect Befitting Greatness:* Understanding that revering Allah begins with Tawhid (Oneness of God); that glorifying His symbols, respecting His boundaries, and following His Messenger are indicators of piety in the heart. Realizing that neglecting acts of worship and approaching prohibitions is actually a lack of respect, and therefore correcting one's life accordingly. 💎 *The Ego That Humbles in the Face of Majesty:* Discovering that the remedy for the ego that magnifies the faults of others and sees its own virtues in a distorted mirror is the name Al-Azim (The Great). Experiencing that when the heart is filled with His majesty, there is no room for pride, arrogance, and the desire for fame; that true honor lies in bowing before His greatness. 🎙️ *SOURCE* This series of sermons and remembrance is prepared based on the dynamic structure of the Quran, contemplations of the Beautiful Names of Allah, and Sufi methods of purification. 📝 *NOTE TO THE VIEWER* In this episode of our series of remembrance and contemplation, we aimed to create a peaceful atmosphere that soothes the soul and encourages introspection through gentle transitions. While reciting the name Al-Azim (The Great), we feel how the worries that seem immense to us diminish in the face of His majesty. This understanding purifies the heart from pride and self-admiration; replacing it with the unwavering confidence of a heart resting on the Lord of the Great Throne. 📌    • Zikir   📌    • Fatiha Suresi Analizi   📌    • Bakara Suresi Analizi   📌    • Yunus Emrem Şiirleri   📌    • Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi Divanı: Kalbe Dokunan İ...   📌    • Surelerin Analizi - Podcast   📌    • İslam'da Bilim ve Teknik   👍 If you found this spiritual cleansing journey helpful, don't forget to like, support us with your comments, and subscribe to our channel! 🔔 💬 *...
