കാട്ടിലൂടെ ഒരല്പം യാത്ര ചെയ്‌താൽ മാമലക്കണ്ടം എത്താം. ഞങ്ങൾ അങ്ങനെ മാമലക്കണ്ടം ചെന്നിട്ടു അവിടെ രാവിലെ പഞ്ഞിയപ്പവും സാമ്പാറും പറോട്ടയും ബീഫും ഒക്കെ കഴിച്ചു. പിന്നെ ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് മാമലക്കണ്ടം ഷാപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് ഷാപ്പിലെ രുചികളും ആസ്വദിച്ചു. Mamalakandam is a remote village in Kerala. To explore a few food spots there we travelled through the forest. The journey was awesome though it would be risky towards the evening hours. Our first food stop was at Sahyadri Nadan Bhakshanashala 1. From there we enjoyed parotta, beef curry and tea. We then walked in to our second food stop which is Sahyadri Nadan Bhakshanashala 2. There we tried something very unique - cotton appam with sambar. And finally, for a spicy lunch we hit Mamalakandam Toddy Shop.
