See video for instructions. Dish: round or rectangular. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Then adjust the oven temperature to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). For an hour, check with a long skewer to see if it's cooked through. If not, return it to the oven. Place the cake in the middle of the oven! Leave the cake in the oven for a while longer; it will continue to cook slowly if you notice any skewer sticking to the skewer. Let the cake cool! Then poke a few holes in the cake with a knife. Pour some more rum over the cake. Poking the knife will help the rum fall into the holes and distribute it even more evenly throughout the cake. If you'd rather not, pour it over the cake! Close the lid and let it rest. Have fun baking with my version of the plum cake with rum! Have fun baking! Thanks so much for watching, soso lobi #surinaamsekeuken #rumcake #blackcake
