Rivers End Campsite, Stanford, Western Cape| Campsite Review
Rivers End campsite is just outside the town of Stanford. It is an off the grid camp with all sorts of different options. Some campsites are closer to the ablutions, one or two are completely off the grid. You need to be self supportive. Some campsites are on grass, other on sand, some have lots of shade, others have less. The ablution facilities are central and really neat and clean. The showers are nice and hot. In the rainy season the lake will have water in and water activities will be possible. The camp is pet friendly and your furry friend is welcome. Just check them for ticks afterwards. The manager welcomed us and directed us to our specific spot. the campsites are big and most of them can accommodate up to 10 people. Stanford is close by. You can wander around the market on a Saturday morning or enjoy breakfast or lunch at one of the cozy restaurants. This is really an escape into nature. An experience you cannot miss out on. It is worthwhile to visit. Check the video out for more information.
