Red rambutan delights! 🍹 Again I made sweetest rambutan recipes for the new year treat!

Never before had my eyes beheld such an abundant rambutan harvest. I wandered among the trees, unable to decide where to pluck from, so lost was I in their plenty. A cluster of tender, crimson-hued young fruits, which the sturdy tree had till then borne lovingly in its bosom, was in an instant placed into my hands, as though the rugged trunk were being freed from a burden of responsibilities. That trees and vines, weighed down with blossoms and fruit, pour forth their yield for the merit of humankind alone; this, indeed, must be true. All the rambutan fruits that were peeled and set aside were made into a sweet, syrupy pickle, prepared to be taken now and then to gently accompany a plate of rice. When the fleshy rambutan fruits, soaked for about an hour in sugar water, are taken off the stove and allowed to cool, they can be eaten much like muscat. A tender new year, carrying a bundle of fresh hopes, peeps in through the window shutters at dawn. It feels to me that today is the perfect day to withdraw into solitude, to quieten myself and find calm, while wishing well-being and peace upon the entire universe. As usual, in a little while, I am meant to go there. Birdsong… whirling breezes… the soft rustle of leaves… apart from these, there is no one there calling out to me. Never have I encountered a remedy that soothes the mind as deeply as this restraint that exists within nature. I find myself unable to express the feelings that arise in my heart beyond simple gratitude. I urge you again and again to embrace the nature, because you too deserve to become part of that serenity. Milk Rice (Kiribath) with polos ambula is wonderfully delicious. Using all the rambutan that remained after the breakfast table was cleared, I prepared a tasty dessert, so that the new day might become even more delightful.
