Welcome to a new video of the MoBa Manufaktur, today it's about recycling leftovers, more precisely about recycling leftover kits. Who doesn't know that... as a model railroader you sometimes buy kits from well-known manufacturers such as Faller, Kibri, Vollmer, Auhagen, Busch, etc. These kits always contain parts that are not needed for assembly and are therefore left over. This has to do with the production chain, such injection moldings are sometimes used for different variants of a kits, the variant that is not built, the parts of this remain. Separately sorting out these parts would be associated with too many additional costs for the manufacturer, so this is simply "gifted" to us. For many of us, these then remain unused in the packaging for years until they are eventually disposed of. This is exactly where our video starts - we build a few fine cargo freights or loads from such free surplus parts: old rusty machine parts old window frames as scrap load Spiers as finished elements Precast concrete elements We show in detail how all these loads are assembled, colored or aged, how we build the transport frame and how the load is secured. Not all of these loads are true to the original, some are fictitious - but they still look fine and, in my opinion, have a right to exist. If you otherwise buy cargo, one quickly costs 10 euros... A total of 9 loads were built (divided into 7 wagons) which represents a value of 90 euros! Horny or... stinginess is cool... isn't it? :-D I hope that with this video we can animate to use the donated parts sustainably and give them a new meaning through upcycling.
