Seven people were travelling in the car when the accident occurred before they could reach their destination. Five occupants lost their lives in the mishap, while two others were rescued and admitted to hospital for treatment. The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over the entire locality, turning a moment of celebration into one of grief.
