BBC One - A Matter of Life & Debt, Case Study: Scoliosis SOS
BBC One - A Matter of Life & Debt Series 3: Episode 3 Clinic Principal Erika Maude was interviewed by the BBC as part of a series showcasing the important role community finance can have on individuals and small businesses. Scoliosis SOS nearly didn't happen when a high-street bank failed to authorise a start-up loan at the last minute. It was only when Foundation East an ethical loans provider stepped in that Erika was able to purchase the medical equipment she needed to open the clinic back in 2006.
