Makassar, at the centre of Indonesia, is a transfer point for most travellers on their way to other parts of Sulawesi. It is the 5th largest city in Indonesia and instead of transiting through the airport, we allowed a day to check out some of the sights, well maybe Bill did whilst I rested 🤢.
