The Story of Patriarchy
Patriarchy has not always existed, it is not natural, but came about in the 2nd millennium BC owing to certain changes in the political economy of ancient Mesopotamia. The fact that it is a creation of certain objective historical conditions means that with a change in those conditions, patriarchy will also be smashed by the women's movements across the globe. The lecture is based on the work of Charles Bachofen, Henry Morgan, Frederick Engels, and Gerda Lerner. *English YouTube: / taimurrahman1975 *Instagram: / taimur_laal *Twitter: / taimur_laal
