First Gondola Ride in Venice with our little boy – Is It Worth It?

A gondola ride was the one experience we had been looking forward to the most in Venice. It's the city's most iconic tradition, and gliding through its narrow canals feels unlike anything else. Would I tell everyone they absolutely have to do it? Not necessarily. But it was a unique experience that we're glad we had. Watching Venice from the water gives you a completely different perspective. The best part wasn't just the ride—it was sharing it with Robert and chatting with our friendly gondolier along the way.
