Chasing a Missouri & Northern Arkansas Grain Load from Independence to Butler, MO.

The MNA runs grain loads sporadically that end up at an elevator somewhere down in Southern Missouri or Arkansas. The UP brings them south from likely Iowa or Minnesota. At UPs Neff yard in Eastern downtown KC, they get an MNA crew that takes the UP Sedalia sub to Pleasant Hill where it hangs a right turn to run south on the MNA mainline. These trains usually run on weekends to avoid getting in the way of their regular weekday freight train. There also happened to be another loaded grain train the very next day taking the same route, likely with the same crew on board. It's unlikely there were any other trains between the 2 said grainers. Locations videoed are as follows: 1. Rolling 50mph down hill out of Independence at Little Blue Road, getting ready to tackle the next hill into Lees Summit. 2. Meeting a double empty at Lees Summit. 3. Getting rolling again out of Lees Summit siding at Greenwood. 4. Now on MNA rails, SLOGGING up the hill at Ore a little ways north of Harrisonville. The weather sure changed in an hour! 5. Passing thru the south side of Harrisonville 6. Lone Tree 7. Archie 8. Making a good clip thru Adrian, I barely beat it here. 9. Pacing 32mph just south of Passaic, passing under i49. 10. Coasting thru Butler. This happened to be just 15 or so hours before Butler made national news due to a small aircraft crash. Prayers to all family involved. Last shot were some gnarly storms in KC as I was driving back home on I49 north. Thanks for watching. This is the first time I have ever seen a train in many of these towns south of Harrisonville. It's not often I see a train in a new place around KC anymore!
