AAYA Dogong Banggo Stages Dharna| DC Office Boleng, Issues 20 Day Deadline to BSNL Network Issues

𝐀𝐀𝐘𝐀 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐂 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠, 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐒𝐍𝐋 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤 | 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠 | 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: The All Adi Youth Association (AAYA) Dogong Banggo today staged a peaceful sit-in dharna at the DC Office, Boleng, demanding immediate restoration and improvement of BSNL network connectivity in the Dogong Banggo area. The association raised two major demands: • Installation of VSAT Media at Yibuk Village. • Immediate operationalisation of the BSNL tower at Dosing Village. According to AAYA Dogong Banggo, the organisation has been continuously raising the issue of poor BSNL connectivity for the past five months. Following repeated representations, BSNL officials had reportedly assured that the pending works would be completed within two months. However, despite the assurance, VSAT Media has not yet been installed at Yibuk Village, and the Dosing Village tower remains non-operational. Expressing dissatisfaction over the delay, AAYA submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner, Siang, urging the authorities to ensure that both demands are fulfilled within 20 days. The association also issued a warning that if the demands are not met within the stipulated period, it will intensify its agitation by calling for a Boleng Headquarters bandh or taking further democratic steps, including protest actions concerning the Suble Hydel Project. AAYA stated that reliable telecommunication services are essential for education, healthcare, emergency services, and the overall development of the remote villages, and urged BSNL and the concerned authorities to take immediate action.
