I Became the Thing I Hated... a 50mm Guy
Today I shot with a 50mm equivalent lens… and I don’t know why I waited so long. 40mm is my comfort zone. And I’ve also kind of avoided the whole “nifty fifty” thing just because it felt too obvious. You know me… if everyone’s doing it, I’m usually suspicious 🤣 But I took it out today anyway and just had a blast with it. Nothing deep, nothing planned—just shooting. And honestly, I came away thinking: what was I doing not using this earlier? This is basically an instant reaction after the fact—just me going through the photos, talking through the experience, and realizing I probably overthought the whole thing for way too long.
