Voici Le DANGER de L'éducation Occidentale sur les Enfants de la Diaspora Africaine...

In this video, I revisit a specific case in Ontario: a school textbook that presented Africa solely through huts and cabins, without cities, architecture, or modernity. I also discuss Statistics Canada's figures on the educational attainment of Black youth in Canada (27% university graduation rate, compared to 58% and 68% for other communities), and what this reveals about the Canadian education system for children of the African diaspora. If you are an African immigrant parent in Canada, in Ontario, Quebec, or elsewhere, and you have questions about your children's education, what textbooks are teaching them about Africa, and how to build a strong sense of identity despite a system that doesn't always accurately portray our history, this video is for you. We discuss systemic racism in schools, representation, identity, cultural transmission, and concrete strategies for parents: counter-narratives at home, involvement in the school system, and community solidarity among diaspora parents. This channel talks about financial freedom and building a life for African immigrants in Canada—but true freedom also begins with knowing who you are. 📌 Subscribe so you don't miss anything. 💬 Share your experience with your children's school in the comments.
