First Impressions Of LAMPANG | Underrated Northern Thailand 🇹🇭

We made it to the underrated city of Lampang here in Northern Thailand! 🇹🇭 This video is of our first impressions here in the city! First things first we went for a bowl of beef khao soi here in Lampang as it would be a sin not to while in Northern Thailand! We went to the legendary khao soi Islam where a bowl of delicious beef khao soi cost only 45 THB. The owner was lovely here I really recommend visiting. Straight after we got some little sweet mung bean treats shaped into fruits for 20 THB, these were simple but surprisingly tasty. We came across a beautiful wooden burmese temple that was over 100 years old and built by burmese workers, such a nice place to walk around and find peace in the city of Lampang. Met a lovely local thai lady selling coffee for 15 THB, the people of Lampang honestly were ridiculously kind in our time spent in the city. We then got some stuffed fried chilli's for 10 THB each which were again pretty tasty snacks. The food tour went on as we visited a legendary beef meatball noodle soup spot here in Lampang, this place was extremely busy people in and out non stop, a bowl of noodles here set us back 50 THB each for a large bowl and it was phenomenal. Headed through Lampang on a bit of a DIY walking tour, checked out the clock tower and stunning white chiang Rai temple before heading to the riverfront. When we got to the riverfront we went for a bit of a wander through the ancient northern Thailand style wooden home streets which was super cool. Walked down the river past all the Lampang rooster artwork to the 100 year old white bridge where we took a look over the river and city views. We then had some really good ba bin thai desserts for 20 THB before meeting more friendly thai locals who had some cute doggos. Finished the day in a non pretentious small coffee shop, got two americanos for 45 THB each, Northern Thailand has some amazing coffee growing in the local areas and I can safely say it is delicious, oh and the coffee shop also had a super cute puppy and cats! Overall so far I'm loving Lampang here in Northern Thailand, for me it really is underrated there are pretty much no foreigners here, the food is amazing, the people are ridiculously warm.
