I trained as a Bible scholar. And when Easter comes around, I hear the same resurrection debates every year. Did Jesus rise from the dead? Empty tomb? Eyewitness testimony? Bayesian probability? But nobody is asking the questions that actually keep scholars up at night. In this video I ask five questions about the resurrection that completely change how you read the New Testament — from what Paul actually believed about the resurrection body, to why the gospel accounts contradict each other so dramatically, to whether the resurrection was even central to early Christianity at all.
