I Tried to Explore Whitley Bay... It Didn't Go to Plan! 😂My Worst Sense of Direction Yet

Welcome back to another Lone Wolf Hedonist adventure. This week I headed to Whitley Bay with the best of intentions... unfortunately my sense of direction had other ideas! The original plan was to start at Monkseaton Metro Station and visit the famous Left Luggage Room, before making my way down to the coast. There was just one problem... the pub was closed, and then I somehow managed to walk in completely the wrong direction! After eventually accepting that Google Maps and I simply weren't seeing eye to eye, I embraced the day as an adventure instead. Along the way I discovered Omni Café for tea and cake, enjoyed a pint in The Ship Tavern, finally made it to the seafront for an ice cream, then visited Spanish City for a couple of drinks in Split Chimp. The day finished on a much better note, meeting up with a friend for a few drinks in The Rockliffe Arms before ending the evening in The Library. It may not have been the carefully planned Whitley Bay vlog I'd imagined, but sometimes the best adventures are the ones that don't quite go according to plan. I'll definitely be returning soon to do Whitley Bay properly... preferably with someone else holding the map.
