Quality control of frame house construction. The homeowner, under my supervision and with my on-site visits, is building a frame house according to the design. The second visit was during the first floor framing stage. Minor comments were made regarding the scaffolding and a dangerous temporary ladder, and two walls were also immediately adjusted on-site, as they lack braces for the OSB slab sheathing. The overall rating is an A-, which is very good for someone building a house for the first time. We build houses with our own hands.
