The Queen Tricked Me!

The queen tricked me… and I didn’t even realize it. Tree removals are usually some of the hardest jobs I take on. They can take days, weeks, sometimes even months of coming back, checking, and hoping the queen finally makes her move. But this time? She walked right out… and I missed it. I didn’t see her in real time. It wasn’t until I went back and watched the footage that I caught it. There she was, casually walking out like it was nothing. I’ve always wondered if I’d ever spot a queen on video before seeing her in person… and this was the moment. Once I found her, I caged her, placed her in the box at the entrance, and let the colony do the rest. A couple days later, they were ready to go.
