Thursday February 17th 2022. A picturesque evening walk through Henley-On-Thames, Oxfordshire, as night fell. Home of the Henley Royal Regatta, the walk takes in sights such as the Henley Bridge, The Anchor Pub, The Tudor House, Town Hall, St Mary's Church, The Kenton Theatre and the famous Henley Boating Company. Henley is a world-renowned centre for rowing. Each summer the Henley Royal Regatta is held on Henley Reach, a naturally straight stretch of the river just north of the town. It was extended artificially. The event became "Royal" in 1851, when Prince Albert became patron of the regatta.
