2025 Grand Canyon Hike South Kaibab - Tonto - Bright Angel
On October 13, 2025, I did a Grand Canyon hike. I went down the South Kaibab Trail across the Tonto Trail, down Bright Angel to the Colorado River, and then back up Bright Angel to the South Rim. I really liked this route and felt that if you are unsure about hiking in the canyon, it is a good place to start. Going in October and having overcast skies provided decent temperatures. The Tonto Trail does not have any shade or water so you need to be aware of that. I hope next year that we are able to go rim to rim, but no matter what hike I do, the Grand Canyon always inspires me. Boring Bob
